The following articles are from Bishop Michael Burk--
Together: Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This single
page, bi-fold brochure highlights our connections in an interdependent
church and acknowledges that there are times when we disagree.
This
Church. This single page statement takes a different approach in
describing the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and our shared
commitments.
This year’s theme for Sunday School:
John 1: 1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. 2He
was in the beginning with God. 3All
things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into
being. What has come into being 4in
him was life, and the life was the light of all people.
5The light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

“SPARK!” A NEW CURRICULUM!
The Christian Education Committee has decided to move away from
Rotation Model Sunday school to a more traditional classroom
setting. We are going to utilize a new curriculum, published by
Augsburg Fortress: “SPARK!” This promises to be an exciting change
and we are looking forward to preparing and teaching all of the
students who are 3 years old through 3rd graders with
this new curriculum. |
Confirmation Ministries
start in grade 3 and include all grades through grade 8.
